The Awakening Massage is an integrative and holistic
approach to both stimulating and relaxing the body
using both physical touch and "energetic coupling". The
result of this session is an expanded awareness and
increased vitality in all four realms of the being -
physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

The physical touch component is a long, soothing,
flat-handed stroke is used over the entire body in a
rhythmic fashion, inducing a deep state of meditative
relaxation and energetic rejuvenation.

"Energetic coupling" is achieved by the energy of
both the giver and receiver interacting to create a single
coupled energy that is directed at boosting energy flow through the
body. This gentle, full body nurturing process is
performed in rhythm to sound of nature and gentle melodies.

Though non-sexual, the technique is sensual and
intimate, as it works within the physical, mental,
spiritual and emotional realms of the client and
practitioner. A relaxed state of arousal may be
attained, followed by even deeper plunges into a
relaxed bliss. The result is the promotion of whole
body energy flow, integration and expansion, mental
grounding, and feelings of clarity and lightness that
continue to be experienced for as much as 4-5 days
after the session. A true awakening!

NOTE - Being a form of bodywork that is comprehensive in
body area coverage that includes long, full body
length stokes, it requires total body exposure.

entire being through principles of Tantra - breathing, movement
